The Kilo Land Registration and Weigh In site was chosen because
there is ample parking for Anglers to trailer their boats back to this
site from whatever ramp they choose to launch from. From Kilo
Land, off Hwy 155, there are at least 4 other ramps within 15
minutes: 1) Palestine Campground, 2) Palestine Hotel, 3) Deep End
public ramps and 4) The Villages.
Caution: Kilo Land has concrete rocks along the entire shoreline of
the cove where the weigh in will take place. There are two usable
piers, one on both sides of the small Kilo Land cove. If you launch at
Kilo Land or come by water to Kilo Land, be extremely careful. The
rocks are just below the surface in many places.
